The Journal has published papers by major Italian and international philosophers, standing out for its scientific rigour within the Italian academia. It has been recognized as a reference point in Italy and abroad for studies in and editions of Classical German Philosophy and its contemporary interpretations. In addition to the Journal, «Verifiche» publishes two high-profile book series: Pubblicazioni di Verifiche and Quaderni di Verifiche.
«Verifiche» has been classified as a first class (A) journal by the ANVUR (National Committee for the evaluation of Universities and Research) for Philosophy. The journal is also registered in the following international databases: Web of Science – Core Collection, SJR, Philosopher’s Index, Google Scholar, Répertoire bibliographique de la philosophie, Eds, Scopus (Arts and Humanities Citation Index), Articoli italiani di periodici accademici (Aida), Philosophy Research Index.
