We are pleased to announce the international workshop Hegel and Effectual Reality: Logic and its Realisations.

The event is the second annual meeting organised by the Research Group HegeLab (Hegel Studies Lab), under the auspices of the University of Eastern Piedmont, the Department of Humanities at the University of Florence and the Philosophy Research Initiative of the University of Western Sydney.

The meeting focuses on the way in which the logical element (Das Logische), whose speculative exposition is included in the Science of Logic, achieves concreteness within Hegel’s Realphilosophie.

The event will take place on December 15th-16th, 2014, at the University of Eastern Piedmont in Vercelli.

The official languages of the conference will be Italian, English and German.
