This is a friendly reminder that the deadline to submit manuscripts for the special issue of Hegel Bulletin on «Hegel and the Frankfurt School» is October 31st 2016.

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the special issue 2017 of Hegel Bulletin devoted to the topic «Hegel and the Frankfurt School» (from Marx to Honneth). Among confirmed contributors there are Rahel Jaeggi and Fred Rush.
Possible themes for submitting papers are vast, extending across metaphysics, social and political theory, ethics, history, religion and aesthetics. Accepted submissions will illuminate specific parts of both Hegel and Critical Theory, but are equally welcomed historical papers based on careful textual analysis and papers which reconstruct their argument in the context of contemporary debates.
All papers (7000 words to 10000 words) are double-blind refereed and must be submitted within 31st October 2016 to e-mail address: hbsi2017@gmail.com.
