We are glad to inform that a call for papers is open for the Conference: “The Autobiography of Thought: Hegel’s Science of Logic“, that will take place at the University of Coimbra on April 11-12, 2019.
The deadline for submitting the papers is on January 15, 2019.

Interpreted as a categorial ontology, a critique of metaphysics, a systematic self-conceptualization of Western metaphysics, a metaphysics of meaning, or the self-explanation of the absolute, among other possible readings, Hegel’s Science of Logic remains to this day the most complete reflection of thought on itself, its foundations and its relations to nature, spirit and the history of philosophy.
In the international conference The Autobiography of Thought: Hegel’s Science of Logic the book launch of the first integral translation into Portuguese of Hegel’s Science of Logic will take place, and the conference will provide the opportunity for the presentation and discussion of different interpretations of the book, its relations to other disciplines in Hegel’s thought, and to contemporary philosophical questions.
Proposals of papers, which should not exceed 30 minutes, on general or specific topics in Hegel’s Science of Logic, its
relation to contemporary philosophical issues or its historical context, should be sent until January 15, 2019, including a title and a 150 to 300 words abstract, to autobiography.hegel@gmail.com.
Notification of acceptance will be sent no later than February 15, 2019.
Proposals can be sent in English, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese.
