We are pleased to announce the first Spanish-Portuguese Meeting on Aesthetics, that will take place on 23rd-25th October 2014 at the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad de Valladolid, Spain.
This edition will be devoted to the work of Arthur Danto.
Keynote speakers: Carmo D’Orey (University of Lisbon), Gerard Vilar (Barcelona Autonomous University), and Lydia Goehr (Columbia University).
The meeting seeks the collaboration between Portuguese and Spanish scholars on philosophical aesthetics, and the promotion of rigorous research in the field.
Portuguese, Spanish, and English will be the official languages at the conference.
Organizers: Sixto Castro (University of Valladolid), Vítor Moura (University of Minho), and Francisca Pérez Carreño (University of Murcia).
