We are glad to give notice of the release of the book Immanuel Kant: Naturrecht Feyerabend, edited by Gianluca Sadun Bordoni (Frommann-Holzboog, 2024).
In the context of scholars’ growing interest in Kant’s lectures, his ›Naturrecht Feyerabend‹ is of particular importance. It is Kant’s first representation of his philosophy of law and was inspired by a lecture that he gave while completing his work ›Grundlegung zur Metaphysik der Sitten‹. Hence, the texts illuminate each other. This critical edition is based on the only surviving transcription of Kant’s natural law lectures from 1784, which was first published in the ›Kant Index‹. Thanks to this new edition, ›Naturrecht Feyerabend‹ is finally at the centre of Kant research.
