We are glad to give notice that the call for papers for the VIII Congreso International of the Sociedad Española de Estudios sobre Hegel, Kant y Idealismo Alemán, which will take place on April 23rd-25th, 2025, at the Universidad de Málaga.

Abstracts (approximately 700-800 words) should relate to the sections indicated below, and should be submitted by October 30th, 2024 to contacto@hegel.es, jjpadial@uma.es or ortigosaandres@gmail.com.

The organizing board is composed of María del Carmen Paredes (Universidad de Salamanca), Gabriel Amengual Coll (Universidad de las Islas Baleares), Juan J. Padial (Universidad de Málaga), Iago Ramos (Universidad de Salamanca), Andrés Ortigosa (Universidad de Sevilla).

Accepted languages are Spanish, German, English, French, Portuguese, Italian.

Sections:

I. Freedom and reson.
II. The problem of metaphysics.
III. Kantian epistemology and its legacy.
IV. The unity of the human being.
V. Nature and freedom.
VI. Practical philosophy: morality, right, and politics.
VII. Religion and theology.
VIII. Beauty and art.

Proposal should be sent as Word.doc or pdf. attachment per email. Please include in the mail the title of the paper, the name of the author, affiliation, email address and the section to which the paper refers.

The presentation of the accepted papers requires the registration to the congress.

In order to benefit from lower registration fees, it is recommended to register for the congress before December 1st, 2024.

Registration fees.
1. By December 1st, 2024:
– 80€ for master students or PhD students.
– 100€ for doctors or professional researchers.
2. From December 1st, 2024 to February 1st, 2025:
– 100€ for master students or PhD students.
– 120€ for doctors or professional researchers.
