New Release: S. Baumann, M. Maillet (eds.), “Aufklärung – Hegel – Vormärz. Reisen in die Ideengeschichte”

We are glad to give notice of the release of the volume Aufklärung – Hegel – Vormärz. Reisen in die Ideengeschichte, edited by Stephanie Baumann and Marie-Ange Maillet (Karl-Alber-Verlag, 2024).

From the publisher’s website:

This volume offers a fascinating journey through different regions of the history of ideas, ranging from the 18th to the 20th century, and brings together international contributions in English, French and German. With 21 articles ranging from the (German and Scottish) Enlightenment to G. W. F. Hegel and Heinrich Heine to important texts from the late 19th and 20th centuries, it honours the work of Norbert Waszek, who was Professor of the History of Ideas at the University of Paris 8-Vincennes-Saint-Denis from 2003-2022. Although Waszek’s research focussed on Hegel, he was also always interested in the historical framework of philosophy.
