We are pleased to announce the coming of a conference devoted to “The Origins of Fichte’s Original Insight: Historical and Systematic Aspects of the Critique of Reflection Theory of Self-Awareness” (Rome, Finnish Institute, June 26-27 2014).

The conference is organized by the research projects Knowledge in Post-Avicennian Islamic Philosophy and Consciousness and the Conscious Subject in Early Modern Philosophy (Academy of Finland / University of Jyväskylä).
