Inaugural Conference of the Society for German Idealism and Romanticism (Chicago, 1st-2nd October 2016)

We are glad to announce the inaugural conference of the Society for German Idealism and Romanticism (SGIR) will be held from October 1st to 2nd at the University of Chicago.

The theme for the conference will be: “The Role of the Imagination in German Idealism and Romanticism”.

The keynote speakers will be Johannes Haag and Jane Kneller; invited speakers are Karl Ameriks, Elizabeth Millàn, Anne Pollok, Allen Speight, Rachel Zuckert.
